Scott will oversee all aspects of MMMSI Web site operations on a global level, and design new security measures for the site. Scott brings a vast amount of top-notch experience in Web design and technical help to MMMSI. Scott was instrumental in cleaning up major errors of the former Web designer, Gennex Inc.

European firms have approached MMMSI officals for agency representation in dealing with aftermarket of vessels and ship parts on a global level.
This group has since formed " Global Alliance Organization": a majority of the major scrap tonnages would come under the direction of this group. Global Alliance has selected prime property in Western Africa for a demolition port. In doing this, the group will share in both benfits of marketing their own products to a selected distributionship world-wide, with MMMSI's vast independent vessel agencies.
Gobal Alliance Organization caters primarily to shipowners and marine aftermarket companies wishing to dispose of their excess equipment and ships for demolition. Suitable spare parts can be used in other ships world-wide. Global Alliance wants to make complicated maneuvers easier than what is being offered in the world of scrap. Global will be offering a "one-step process" from purshasing the vessel and towing it, to insuring its safe travel to yards.

Officials of Odessa Marine Services, Limiterd (OMS) of Odessa, Ukraine gave final approval to MMMSI / General Agencies agreement in which OMS will fully represent MMMSI's interest in the Baltic region.
This will be the second agency in the Baltic region to serve this Michigan-based Company. Late last year, MMMSI signed Egida Agencies of Odessa, Ukraine. MMMSI looks at both of these "special opportunities" with two of the largest growing agencies in the region. This region is vast in size and the cargoes are limitless. One company can't do it alone but two companies can cement MMMSI's long-term commitment to be the best.

MMMSI officials announced that an agreement has been made with European firm Smit May Service B.V. of Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
Smit May Services B.V. is in the "surplus marine equipment business." This is unique because it ties in with MMMSI's clients' needs for demolition tonnages. The agreement also calls for both firms to have reciprocal links to each other's websites. This will help establish services that the other doesn't presently offer.

Mr. Jeff Cameron, St. Catherine, Ontario, an avid ship photographer and writer for the Welland Ship Canal site: www.vaxxine.com/jcameron/ also has written an article about MMMSI's owner of November 10, 1999. The article was concerning the possible purchase of the Canada Steamship Lines: S/S Tarantau a 730 x 75 x 39 self-unloading ship which was sold for scrap and hauled to International Marine Salvage Limited Yard in Port Corborne, Ontario in late October. MMMSI has finalized a long term agreement with the Port of Baltimore's largest stevedore: I.T.O. Corporation. The agreed-upon MMMSI design calls for only one stevedore in USA to service MMMSI vessels, the reason being that Port of Baltimore has the deepest ports plus has a rail service that is much faster than those in other states along USA's East Coast .
MMMSI headquarters got some new refinements this past week with a brand new roof and insulation. The work was done by Mr. Richard Farron, owner of Farron Roofing Company of Westland, Michigan.
MMMSI owners have been revamping the headquarters for the past 2 years. The Cape Cod style building was built in 1940 and is situated 2 blocks from downtown city of Wayne, Michigan.
MMMSI owners decided on this present location rather then the business sectors in Detroit, which is 45 miles to the east, for many reasons. These include: saving thousand of dollars per month in rent and having something to show for it. Nicer surroundings for clients/customers to appreciate and not have to worry about traffic and changing neighborhoods like that of River Rouge and Detroit.
MMMSI is conveniently located six minutes from Detroit Metropolitan Airport, 10 minutes from Dearborn Headquarters of Ford Motor Company, seven minutes from I-275 expressways, and 10 minutes from I-94.

MMMSI has hired North American Marine Limited of St. Catherine, Ontario to do a survey on the Mckeil's Ocean barge Trillinum tied up in Hamilton, Ontario. The barge is 475 x 75 x 38 has a dead weight capacity of 18,000 mt at 26 ft. MMMSI officials are developing a plan for international Great Lakes/St. Lawrence trade.
MMMSI has made an agreement with Global Harbour Network Limited of Termeuzen, The Netherlands ( www.harbour.org ) to host some of MMMSI's website. Global Harbors has been negotiating with MMMSI for a few months. Their site is connected with 800,000 maritime search engines. MMMSI is working on a barter-based deal, the first of its kind on the Great Lakes.

South Pacific Freight Forwarders Pvt., Ltd of Calcutta, India has agreed with McCaughrin Maritime Marine Systems Inc., (MMMSI) of Wayne, Michigan USA., to serve as General Agency in India in the 3 southern ports of Calcutta, Madras, and Mumbai. The General Agency contact person is Alok Sen (Director, General Manger for the region.)
McCaughrin Maritime earlier this month signed agencies in the Northern part of India: SSD: Skhupal Maritime Transport to serve as General Agency in New Delhi. Skhupal Maritime Transport also has offices in Singapore where MMMSI will have a presence.

MMMSI is both honored and delighted by this unique opportunity to further deepen its roots in South America. The growing and demanding needs of clients/customers there and the growth of MMMSI agencies world-wide will mean cheaper rates and more timely fashion of cargo delivery.

McCaughrin Maritime officials received word this morning that the Israel firm of: Unishipping Limited in Haifa, Israel has agreed in principle to become MMMSI's latest General Agency in that region. Unishipping contact person will be Manuel Admir (General Manager.)
McCaughrin Maritime has complete agency representation in USA, Brazil, Middle East region and the Ukraine and has recently won General Agency Approval in Asian countries such as Pakistan, India, Singapore, and Korea.
Under MMMSI General Agency Agreements, when it said and done, McCaughrin Maritime will have the largest land bridge connection stretching from Pusan, Korea to Beirut, Lebanon, and by water bridge three specific loading regions of Lebanon, Egypt, and Ukraine to Baltimore, Maryland USA.

"Largest Land Bridge in the World" Korea to Lebanon by rail.
MMMSI officials announced today that the establishment of agencies from Korea to Lebanon and from India to Ukraine will make the Wayne, MI firm, McCaughrin Maritime Marine Systems, Inc., "Worlds Largest Land Bridge Shipper".
MMMSI officials are now in negotiation with Korea, India, Pakistan, Iran, Lebanon, and Russia, for rail leasfor 100 years.
MMMSI is looking to further expand relationships with Ukraine officials to formulating container lines from Lithuania to India Port of Karachi for the year 2000.
MMMSI is also finalizing last minute details with I.T.O. Corp of Baltimore, Inc. on a stevedoring contract.

McCaughrin Maritime USA has agencies from Korea to Lebanon and in between; including every county in the Mediterranean except where embargoes are taking place such as Allergies, Libya and Iraq.
MMMSI has been in touch with those 3 countries government about doing international trade once the embargoes are lifted and peace can be finally be made.

McCaughrin Maritime owners hired Euro Worldwide Shipping of Denmark in effort to start looking for right equipment for MMMSI/multi-purpose container service. MMMSI is looking into 15 different vessels with tonnages starting at 10,000 to 35,000 deadweight capacity. MMMSI's plan calls for specific teu capacity from 900 - 1500 / 20' / 14 tons range.

McCaughrin Maritime Marine Systems, Inc. announced today that a long term agreement has been signed by Middle East Company: Parnoun Tejarat Company, Limited of Terhan, Iran. The agreement calls for the Iranian company to be a MMMSI General Agency.
This is the third major company in the Middle East to sign an agreement with MMMSI in the last several weeks. On September 15, Overseas Company Shipping Limited of Egypt signed a 5 year deal to represent MMMSI in that region.
In August, Shipping & Trading Company Limited of Beirut, Lebanon signed on with MMMSI as their General Agency and also included Cyprus. Shipping & Trang also put MMMSI on their web site announcing the new service in the region.

MMMSI has agreements with 10 agencies that serve all the Countries surrounding the Mediterranean Sea Port regions. The Middle East Countries, consisting of Lebanon, Syria, Israel, Cyprus, and Iran, also have agreements with MMMSI now.
Ukraine region agencies will have representation in and around the Black Sea countries. MMMSI's plan to blanket the entire region has now worked perfectly, Praise the Lord.
This is the second time in one year McCaughrin Maritime has ventured outside the Great Lakes to develop a global container market for the Great Lakes region. McCaughrin Maritime has cut days off of the original sailing schedules of service per month from the Baltic region to Great Lakes. MMMSI has created more tonnages by using East Coast USA port.
McCaughrin Maritime will use I.T.O. Corporation of Baltimore, Inc., Port of Baltimore, Maryland year round as MMMSI/USA/ Main base container operations. Officials of McCaughrin Maritime Marine Systems, Inc. announced today that they have agreed in principal to a unique contract with Cargo International Logistics Inc., of White Plans, New York. In the agreement, Cargo International will act as McCaughrin Maritime's Agent of Services for the transportation of Brake bulk and Containerized shipments. Cargo International and McCaughrin Maritime have already agreed on the territories in which trading will take place.
Also this agreement calls for McCaughrin Maritime to act as exclusive agent for Cargo International, in those territories agreed upon by both firms.

Schiappacasse, Assistant Director Maryland Port Administration in Baltimore, Maryland to discuss MMMSI's Baltic/Ocean-Lakes Container Service using up to four 416 foot multi-purpose container vessels with a total of 8,400 deadweight capacity each. Captain Peter Burgess, Chief of Marine Service at St. Lawrence Seaway Authority in Cornwall, Ontario notified owners at McCaughrin Maritime Marine Systems, Inc. (MMMSI) this morning of changes that will need to be made to make the "New" multi-purpose container vessel MV. Westernsingel able to transit the entire St. Lawrence Seaway and the Welland Canal. This vessel is scheduled to be launched May 31, in Kiel, Germany. No decision has been made at press time from the owners in the Netherlands.
McCaughrin Maritime has selected Oceanweather Communication Network to help MMMSI plot navigation charts around the globe where MMMSI will have vessels. MMMSI also added this firm to its web site.
Praise the Lord! St. Lawrence Seaway Authority officials notified MMMSI owners that the Multi-purpose Lo/Ro vessel: MV. Thowriver (565 x 75 x 47 with a carrying capacity of 17,650 metric tons) will be debuting in late June or July for trade on the Great Lakes after modifications are done in a foreign yard to let this vessel transit. Owners of the vessel, Ocean Maritime Limited of Athens, Greece, had heard what McCaughrin Maritime tried doing in November 97. This ithe exact copy of the MV. Lima that MMMSI had inspected by Seaway officials and Mount Royal/Wash Inc. in 1997 in Montreal, Quebec.

Mr. Roy Schleicher, Port of Baltimore, Maryland Port Authority's Director of Marketing and Mr. Thomas F. Howe General Manager Central Region of the Maryland Port Administration have been meeting with McCaughrin Maritime Marine Systems, Inc., Officials for discussions concerning the year round usage of the Port of Baltimore, Maryland.
McCaughrin Maritime was looking at a year around port that would permit full draft vessel in its state. MMMSI original plan was to transit multi-purpose container vessels down through St. Lawrence Seaway, The Welland Canal up to the Port of Windsor, Ontario, Canada twice a month but several factors have not come through for MMMSI this week.
Windsor Harbor Commission awarded property site to MMMSI officials in January. On going negotiation with MMMSI stated specific schedules for the property site and that time table has now gone by. The Windsor site has been bogged down with complex talks with the current owners which own Ambassador Bridge.
McCaughrin Maritime & Mannesman Dematic the Germany manufacture of container cranes have talked and have decide at this junction to put plans on hold till next year until Harbor Commission and land owners can work out there differences.

MMMSI's owner is negotiating with China and Russia to get together to build the longest and fastest rail line from East China Sea to Baltic State ports of either Venspils, Latvia or Klepeda, Lithuania with designs of the famed Japanese "Bullet Train". Transportation of this design would save roughly 35 days at sea, save tons of fuel, reduce sinking vessel at sea in that are of the ocean and you could move more containers 5,000 miles in eight hours (625 mph)!
