The McCaughrin Family Latest report on Mr. Brian R. McCaughrin Condition.
The McCaughrin Family said, that Mr. Brian R. McCaughrin, continues on his long term rehabilitation, at Garden City Sport & Rehabilitation for Specialty Center, in Westland, Michigan due to the extensive fall on his property while on vacation on January 2014, crushing disks, and leaving him paralyze from the waist down.
Mr. McCaughrin who turned 66 today, continue walking with brace on his right leg. In January he moved from 12 month of tractions to aquatic therapy pool, and In Mid February, doing both aquatic therapy, and now to physical therapy as he is slowly regaining more feeling, and slowly re-building muscle in both legs.
The McCaughrin Family thanks all those who have lite candle, and prayed for his recovery over 15 months from this terrible accident last January.

Brian R. McCaughrin, #1 Supervisor, at Delta Air Cargo, www.delta.com/ Detroit (DTW) Metro Airport Building 536 Michigan, for Thirty Five (35) years, Who been on long term disability from January 4, 2014 from a slip and fall accident on his own property, that left him paralyzed from the waist down was the prime reason for his announcement of retirement today, and On January 6, 2015, will under go for Next 6 months or more of surgery to correct both right and left leg damaged from the fall and from being immobilized for 6 months.
Mr. McCaughrin, was told in September by of his immediate doctors, ten in all including 2 surgeons that any like hood of returning back to your old job were out, and to seriously think about retirement, or risk being in wheel chair for the rest of your life. With two (2) crushed disks I-3 and I-4 and the center disk which usually would be blown out are just hanging their, so any sudden jerk, would end your now walking slowly to wheel chair.
Doctors told Mr. McCaughrin, that their is 85-90% chance in regaining full strength in correcting the right leg walking by mid 2015, however you may still need to walk with cast on his right leg for support to correct drop down foot caused by crushed I-3 and I-4 disks that is sending pain down his right side and foot and favoring his left side, which has now caused left hip damaged after 11 months.

McCaughrin Maritime Global, which has had leasing agreement with Ford Motor Leasing Group, Dearborn, Michigan for 12 Years called it quits today for what they say very serious safety vehicles violations on its 2013 Ford Explorer, which had 4 recalls on it.
Mr. Brian R. McCaughrin, Founder, President & Owner of McCaughrin Maritime Global, had taken the Ford Explorer over to Jack Demmer Ford Dealership in Wayne, Michigan, where Mr. McCaughrin had been leasing the vehicles, and who represent All Ford Motor Company Product.
Jack Demmer Ford called Mr. McCaughrin for a schedule to come in and have the 1st problem fixed, A vapor leak in gas tank was set up in early December 2013.
Mr. McCaughrin decide to wait for the vehicles, some 8 hours later it was ready, as Mr. McCaughrin was driving up north some 300 miles that afternoon, left the dealership and came back within 5 minutes very up set when the dash board showed a warning lite that the problem: Vapor leaks in the gas tank has not been fixed and dealership has dumped a full tank of gas, instead of replacing it. Mr. McCaughrin said so who is the f------clown who fixed this vehicle, I want to see him right now.
The African American Service manager, on duty said to Mr. McCaughrin, and I quote: "DRIVE IT TILL IT BRAKES" unquote.. Mr. McCaughrin looked shock and said what did you say: "DRIVE TILL IT BREAKS". Mr. McCaughrin said for all the 12 years I, have leased vehicles from Jack Demmer Ford, this is a first.
Mr. McCaughrin, said So, Let me to understand what you are saying, You want me to drive a very serious problem some 300 miles up north and FORD knows of this safety violated vehicle that your clowns mechanic worked on, and instead of fixing this right are turning it over to me the loyal FORD customer to what, get injury???....I, Don't think so.. but some body here at Jack Demmer Ford should be fired or jailed for this.
Mr. McCaughrin, parked the 2013 Ford Explorer in his garage where its stayed for 9 months till Mr. John C. Ms. Elizebeth G. McKeigh, President of McCaughrin Maritime Global, said The 4th Quarter 2013 Overseas Bulk Divison (OBD) have finished above & beyond its previous 2013 quarters with higher tonnages requirements and turn around time due to added conveyor belts extension from mine to dock to ship.
Each conveyor is carrying maximum amount of cargo, up from mine to dock to ship quicker. With this extensions the ships spend 1/4 to 1/2 days less each at the dock, and with these little steps this will enable us to carry more for less per tons.
McKeigh said with both ship back in action from their 5 years Dry-Docking and Survey, This last 4th Quarter of 2014, Each Pamax bulker were able to squeeze out extra #141,000 tonnages each for the quarter, that was mined, stored, sold, ship, recieved by 50% additional trip each into operation and the result for and with deeper harbor resulted Up from 75 feet to 150 feet, and Previous 4th Quarter 2013 by +103.875%.
Ms. McKeigh said 4th Quarter 2013 / Third Party Logisitics (TBA) Firm for the / U.S. Container Operations Result were met with more favorable Results of $2.8M vs 4th Quarter 2012 of Positive $1.5M. Different of +$1.3M. However, with amount of ships, and changes in container size, and pricing our mix from high cubic 45' to 20', We should be seeing a larger amount of result then $+300,000 per quarter. We have extend the agreement to 6 months to see if they can gain the extra +30% promised to Mr. Brian R. McCaughrin 16 months ago.
